This is a replacement for a spare distributor.
Summary: Glad I was able to obtain after MSD took over Mallory. Parts availability vanished for some time. Now it's basically a spare. Fortunately in the interim, was able to purchase a GM equivalent distributor that's still working fine.

Summary: Had a bad part as manufactured. Speedway Customer Service replaced the part emediately and paid the freight on the new part. There is a real good reason I have been dealing with speedway for over 40 years.
