Product Type: Cosplay Prop
All items sold by PhantomForge Studios are 3D printed cosplay props intended for display, costume, or collector purposes only.
These items are NOT safety equipment and are not rated for impact protection.
Helmets sold in this store should never be used as protective gear for motorcycles, bicycles, construction, sports, or any other safety use.
Unfinished 3D Print Disclosure
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the listing, items are sold as RAW UNFINISHED 3D PRINTS.
Unfinished prints include:
- Visible 3D printing layer lines
- No sanding
- No filler
- No primer
- No paint
Items will be printed in grey PLA+ filament.
Buyers purchasing unfinished prints are responsible for completing their own finishing work, including:
- Sanding
- Priming
- Painting
- Detailing
Listing photos may show painted or finished examples for reference only. These images demonstrate what the prop could look like after finishing and painting.
3D Printing Characteristics
All products are manufactured using FDM 3D printing technology.
Because of this process, prints may naturally include:
- Visible layer lines
- Small seam lines
- Minor surface variations
- Print orientation marks
These characteristics are normal and are not considered defects.
Buyers seeking a smooth display finish should either perform finishing themselves or purchase a painted version.
Painted and Airbrushed Options

Premium Airbrushed Finish
This includes:

- Protective clear coat
Due to the hand-finished nature of these items, minor variations in color, shading, or texture may occur. Each piece is unique.
Painted Item Production Time
Painted items require extended production time.
Production timelines:
- Unfinished prints: 3-7 business days
- Painted/airbrushed items: Minimum 30 days before shipment
This allows sufficient time for:
- Sanding and preparation
- Filler work
- Primer curing
- Paint application
- Clear coat curing
By purchasing a painted item, the buyer acknowledges and accepts this timeline.
Painted Item Approval Process
All painted items undergo a buyer approval process before shipment.
Once completed, photos of the finished item will be sent via eBay messages.
The buyer must confirm approval before shipment.
After approval:
- The item will be packaged and shipped
- The order becomes final
Once approved, the item cannot be returned or refunded based on paint finish or appearance.
Seller Quality Control Guarantee
PhantomForge Studios maintains a quality standard for all painted items.
Each piece is evaluated on an internal 0-5 quality scale.
If a piece falls below acceptable standards (approximately below 4/5), it may be:
- Repainted
- Reprinted and repainted
This is done at no additional cost to the buyer.
Subjective Preference Policy
Painted items are custom artistic products.
Due to the hand-finished nature of each piece, slight variations are expected.
Returns or refunds will not be granted based on subjective preference, including:
- ?I don?t like the finish.?
The color appears different from what I expected. It?s not exactly how I envisioned it.
Buyers receive photos before shipment to avoid any misunderstandings.
Once approved, the order is final.
Size and Fit
Helmet sizing is based on the measurement listed (e.g., 24-inch head circumference).
Buyers are responsible for confirming the sizing before making a purchase.
Many buyers opt to install foam padding for added comfort and fit adjustment.
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be canceled before production begins.
Once printing starts, cancellations are not possible due to factors like filament usage, machine time, and production scheduling.
Painted orders cannot be canceled once finishing work has commenced.
Returns & Refunds
Since items are made to order, returns are generally not accepted unless:
- The item arrives damaged during shipping.
- The wrong item was sent.
Buyers must contact the seller within 48 hours of delivery.
Photos may be required for claims.
Shipping
Items are carefully packaged to minimize the risk of damage.
Once shipped, the seller is not responsible for carrier delays caused by USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Custom Orders
