Online info:

Eisemann GL-4 magneto, a vintage ignition component designed for four-cylinder engines. Popular in the 1920s and 1930s, these units were standard equipment for tractors (such as Caterpillar and Fordson), heavy trucks, and stationary industrial engines.

High-tension ignition systems widely used in vintage aircraft, tractors (especially Caterpillar pony motors), and industrial engines since 1904.

Commonly used on 4 and 6-cylinder industrial and aircraft engines, such as Franklin and Continental engines, and extensively on Caterpillar tractors.

Mention also of:

Dodge/Chrysler vehicles, and LeRoi engines. Buick, and White trucks.

Unit has not been tested. Sold as is, as shown.

I took caps off and parts look in good condition.
