This is a vintage Hamilton Perry from approximately 1949, housing the highly regarded 982 movement — a 19 jewel manually wound caliber made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The case is marked W 14K gold filled with a square tank profile and straight lugs. A JB Champion stainless expansion bracelet. The silver toned dial features bold Arabic numerals and a subsidiary seconds display at 6 o'clock with a distinctive sunburst surround. Movement serial J377737, case serial H870454. The watch winds, runs, and keeps accurate time.

New crystal installed

The dial shows honest age patina consistent with a piece from this era and the case back has light surface scratching. A genuine American made Hamilton with one of their finest movements.
