Offered here is a fantastic COLLECTION DRY GOODS ORDERS FROM 'WELLS BROTHERS' DRY GOODS SUPPLIERS IN COFFEYVILLE, KS BETWEEN 1894 - 1897.
This group includes 37 dry goods trade order documents from the period just after the famous raid by the Dalton Gang in 1892 which was bravely suppressed by the Coffeyville citizens. The orders to the Wells Brothers came from a wide variety of cities in the south-southwest including:

This group represents an amazing assemblage of old west ephemeral documents that simply were not saved. These original source documents show what food and supplies were needed and when and the extent to which Coffeyville was an important hub for trade in the old west.

We split the lot in the event a collector or institution couldn't afford or didn't desire the entire larger group. Should this group not find a buyer, we will split the items into individual groups to move them along.
