Design: layered rustic heart motif with mixed-metal components including copper, brass, and silvertone pieces, featuring cutout stars, crescent accent, spiral wire detail, and an oval background heart with a dangling clip and circular wire loop finished with a small heart charm.

Function: used to separate strands of embroidery floss or similar craft threads by attaching the clip to one end of the floss, resting the Puffin as a weighted separator, and gently drawing the individual strands apart for cross stitch, needlepoint, and other stitching projects.

Construction and origin: adornments are handmade by local artisans using copper, brass, and nickel components, then assembled in the USA as noted on the instruction sheet.
