This 14k Gold Australian Boulder Opal Pendant features a unique Freeform shape, with a vibrant Multicolor main stone sourced from Australia. I am unsure if this is a boulder Opal doublet or a solid Boulder Opal bc they use iron stone backing in Opal doublets and natural solid Boulder Opal would have an iron stone backing as well, and the bezel setting keeps me from seeing around the stone to know if it has been adhered to it or if it is just the natural Opal occurring on the ironstone of Boulder Opal. It is in great condition and has looked the same since it was purchased many years ago in Australia. The gold is unmarked however, it test as 14 karat gold with the acid test and I will include a picture for reference
