Understand that if you successfully win an auction, you must be ready to pay for the item(s) you have acquired. Avoid placing bids unless you are confident in your willingness to pay. Although cancellations can be handled with relative ease, they can adversely affect sellers. I keep track of bid retractions (ebay sends me a notice). If I observe the same user canceling multiple bids, or someone who cancels on Sunday evenings just trying to see where the bids are, it will lead to their inclusion on my bidder block list. It's not fair to my serious customers.
Review the tax rules in your state since they differ; eBay, not the seller, may be required to add taxes. Each state has its own set of regulations regarding bullion, nuggets, etc. Although I'm not familiar with all 50 states' rules, the majority of them have bullion exemptions.
Tracking devices are increasingly being included in a few high-value bundles. I would appreciate it if you could mail the prepaid, addressed package back to me as soon as possible. We both have additional insurance with this.
To avoid sending out several invoices, do let me know if you are awaiting the conclusion of other auctions. Please notify me if your payment will take longer than two to five days; if not, eBay will automatically mark your item as "UNPAID."
Shipping
FREE shipping is available within the USA. I use USPS for shipping and ship packages within 24 hours of receiving payment. Please understand that according to eBay's policy, once the tracking status indicates "Delivered," eBay considers the item as delivered. If your item is high value, I will place an Apple Air Tag in your package, in a prepaid mailer to make it very easy. All you need to do is drop it right back in the mail.
If you need any shipping upgrades, such as signature confirmation, please let me know before you complete your payment. Generally, shipping is swift, although there may be delays during the busy Christmas season.
For shipments to Canada, I try to only use USPS (UPS seems to have high import fees and leaves packages on doorsteps). The shipping cost is $17.95 unless the item is over $750. Then it goes USPS Priority for $41.95. I do not profit on shipping fees.
If you are buying multiple items, please wait until the end of the day to make a single payment for all your auctions. This allows you to take advantage of a reduced combined shipping rate.
Regarding returns, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason other than "I thought it would be bigger!" I provide a 100% money-back guarantee. Since I don't conceal anything, pictures will be taken of the nuggets, silver, and jewelry on all sides. Please keep in mind that there will be some imperfections because the nuggets are natural. A nugget of gold that is 100% pure does not exist.
I'll present the nugget from every perspective, whether it's good, awful, or ugly. As long as the gold hasn't been altered, I'm prepared to give you a complete refund if you're not happy with it. Only three nuggets have been returned since 2009.

I lived in Alaska (Gold Country) for 35 years. Recently, we moved to Eastern Washington, yet my suppliers have remained loyal to me. I will always buy back any gold from you. Most of my Alaska placer gold nuggets come from mining districts such as Circle, Fairbanks, Fortymile, Bonnifield, Rampart, Yukon, Valdez, Koyukuk, and Ophir. Between 35 and 60 miners throughout Alaska and Canada have supply me with gold. I clean the gold using a natural process to remove dirt. The color and shine can vary depending on the creek, assay, and metal content. While I may not always know the exact creek, I'm familiar with the origins of most of the gold.
I operate as a sole proprietor dedicated to the principle of "truth in advertising." Since 2009, I have been fully engaged in the gold business, following a lengthy career in aviation that began in 1977. I have earned the confidence of hundreds, if not thousands, of repeat clients, including fellow sellers, and I intend to uphold that trust. Alongside gold, I also offer coins, exquisite jewelry, and Alaskan nugget creations. I have access to vintage Alaskan jewelry, although I may not always be aware of the provenance of each piece. If I have any uncertainty regarding a specific stone, I will make that clear. While I do not possess gemologist credentials, I have a solid understanding of gold. All diamonds will undergo testing and will be accurately described. You will find that you can acquire items for approximately 50% of the retail price, as I procure them at favorable rates.
