This piece is part of my jellyfish series, where every little jelly gets a cute, slightly ridiculous face because the ocean deserves more comedy. I start with watercolor to get that soft, floaty glow, then layer acrylic to make the expressions pop. Each jelly ends up looking like it’s thinking very important thoughts, even though it absolutely isn’t.
