Dimension: 6 x 5 inches (15 x 12.5cm)
Offered for sale is an authentic 6-inch Chinese export porcelain oval dish, dating to the Qianlong period (1736–1795). This exquisite dish is decorated in underglaze blue with the highly sought-after "Nanking" landscape pattern, featuring pavilions, pagodas, willow trees, a small boat, and flying birds—an iconic motif of 18th-century Chinese export porcelain. The rim is adorned with a detailed border of scrolling vines and geometric patterns, a hallmark of Qianlong-era craftsmanship.
Measuring approximately 6 inches in length, this dish was made for the Western market as a dessert or side plate. It is in excellent original condition, with a glossy, intact glaze and rich, deep blue coloring typical of high-quality Qianlong export wares. Minor signs of age and use are present, including natural wear to the edges, small chip to the rim, confirming its authenticity as an antique over 200 years old. A superb example of Chinese export porcelain, ideal for collectors of 18th-century Asian art or as a refined decorative piece.
