Important reason for front control board failure,
#1 coffee and pop spilled on face. common on trucks
#2 physical damage to face. mad at radio or cassette
#3 charging system faults. sapped electronics
this will usually damage main board electronics.

This part will not interchange with 
1st Gen ESR cassette 1st series 1986 to 1989 and 
2nd series 1990 to 1994 19B132 models.
