This is a rare 2” size ( most are 1 - 1/2” ) antique barrel spigot with brass valve.

The spigot itself is made of very thick steel and / or cast iron.

This item had been in storage for many years and I was not able to close it by hand, as it has a tight fitting closure. I wasn’t about to force it, so it may need to be cleaned up in order to get it functioning.

The name Syracuse is printed on the side as shown in the photo.
