Made of oak wood, featuring a rich, dark patina and parquet finished top
It has a hinged lid top section and a pull out bottom draw it includes the original key but this seems not to lock function properly this item is in a stunning pre owned condition cosmetically apart from the inner felt lining in the top part of the box which has been removed at somepoint in its life and the bottom draw felt is damaged all of which have been pictured this stunning box draw is a lovely addition to any home office etc and has plenty of room for storage of items the boot I’m draw will not close unless the top compartment is open etc as a built in function of this box shows its high quality built and is fairly heavy in weight circa 1900 era it certainly has been very well looked after shame someone has removed the inner linings but this does not alter the fact this is a beautiful box
