The Kindle's screen is still very nice to read on, even though it's an older model now.
You can register it to your Amazon account, and send books to it after buying them on your phone or computer. You can't browse the Kindle store or buy books directly from this Kindle any more. You can directly transfer books from other bookstores to it, via your computer, using a micro USB cable. You will need one of those to charge it as well. It has over 100 good books on it already.
To be clear, this listing is for the Kindle only, no case, no charger.
If you pay the buy-it-now price, I will include a high-quality micro USB cable for charging and data transfer. If you don't need a cable, you can offer £12.99 and eBay will auto-accept.
