Martin D-16GT StreetMaster-Style Refinish
The Martin D-16GT is a user-friendly model that inherits the charm of the dreadnought, one of Martin's iconic body styles, while being available at an accessible price point.
It features a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back, producing an energetic sound that rises from the low end, a uniquely unrefined, earthy feel characteristic of mahogany, and a moderately dry, sweet tone—a character perfectly suited for accompaniment.
The fact that it's not simply a cost-cutting measure becomes clear the moment you pick it up and play it. Perhaps its greatest appeal is the guaranteed quality that will satisfy even dedicated Martin users.
It features a StreetMaster-style refinish, recreating the look and feel of a guitar that has been played live for many years, giving it a unique character.
