This Boss HF-2 was manufactured in April 1986 according to the Boss Pedal Serial Number Decoder. It is made in Japan.

The BOSS HF-2 is set a MN3204 to sway a band one octave higher than the BOSS BF-2, giving you a natural and refreshing flanger sound. The sound goes well with synthesizers, and many keyboard musicians use it especially for strings.

We have confirmed the sound output with both ACA power suplly and 9 volt battery. It works fine and sounds good.

The serial number is 654200.
