Set of vintage Soviet photographic yellow filters with original storage cases.

Filters are marked in Cyrillic:

ЖС-17 49×0.5

ЖС-18

ЖС-17 33×0.5

These ЖС (ZHS) series yellow filters were commonly used in black and white photography to increase contrast, darken skies and improve cloud detail in landscape photography.

Yellow filters were popular accessories for Soviet cameras such as Zenit, Zorki, FED and other M39/M42 lens systems.

The set includes several filters of different diameters together with original plastic storage boxes.
