Rust Protection (IMPORTANT): These blades are made of Carbon Steel, which is superior for sharpness and strength but prone to rust if not maintained. Upon arrival, each blade will be completely coated with a special protective anti-rust oil. This is to ensure the product reaches you in pristine condition.

Maintenance:

DO NOT wipe this oil off completely when cleaning the blade for regular use. Keep a very thin layer of protection.

When re-oiling, use standard high-grade machine oil (or specific katana oil). DO NOT use cooking oil or vegetable oil, as these will become gummy and damage the steel structure.

Handling & Safety:
