These women’s East German army boots all display various states of wear, use, age & storage. As a result, they all would likely require some level of restoration for them to be wearable- most of them are missing insoles, creased, marked or scuffed, inner heel supports may be deteriorating & the soles on these boots have lost most flexibility- there is also some sole cracking. Also due to storage there is some musty odor. These boots have been treated with a disinfectant inside & out but this slight odor may still persist it varies by boot. Also noted is some discoloration/ water damage to the outside of all pairs. It is presumably cosmetic & able to be covered by polish. Please examine the pictures as the general condition of these boots is representative of all in stock.

In short, these boots may not be wearable as they are, but they all still have good “bones”; with a little TLC, they will make a fine addition for a living history display, collection display or educational prop/ presentation piece. If you’re willing to give them a bit more TLC, they may be able to be restored to former glory.
