Takes two "AA" Batteries. Battery cavity is clean. I have removed the batteries. The unit powers up Ok. The menu operates. That is ALL I have tested. I have no idea whether the unit performs as intended. Please bear this in mind if you are considering purchasing the unit. It appears all the cconnection cables are present as are the operation & quick start manuals. The only thing is, the rubber on the unit has become a bit tacky as I have noticed happens to some older computer items, such as old e-readers.
I tested as far as I could. I have no further information as I don't know what it even does. I turned it on and some of the stuff that I did seemed to operate. But please, if you want something that has been 100% tested, don't buy this. I have listed what I could and it is definitely a case of buyer beware, sold as is is.
