**REX REGNUM UNDER CONSTANTINE**

A highly sought after type featuring the nephew of Constantine in what was the only coin type issued for a Roman ‘King’; Constantine appointed Hanniballianus as prefect of Armenia with the title Rex Regnum or ‘King of Kings’, the title of the Persian Shah, in preparation for a planned war in which Constantine intended to replace said Shah with a Roman; although these coins are considered rare and fetch high prices, Nummus-Bible alone lists more than 100 examples; I have used Forum's photo as the main image as for some reason I cannot seem to get an unblurry image of this particular coin; this is not the best example of this type but as stated it is a highly sought after specimen that routinely fetches astronomical prices, likewise with many of the rarer reverse types of his Uncle Constantine; although there are many, many examples listed in Nummus-Bible, these are all in private collections and this type does not appear for sale very often; I know I have digressed and repeated myself several times haven't I? Ex Forum Ancient Coins, Summer 2025

All coins are authentic and from my own personal collection. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Over the coming weeks I will be adding more fixed price listings of Late Roman Bronze Coins so please check back with me.

If there is any specific type you are looking for let me know. I have an extensive Late Antique collection with AE and some AR issues dating from the mid 3rd Century AD to the 8th Century AD

I strive to make accurate impressions of the coins I list, thus my listings tend to have a multitude of photos, taken under different light sources and from different angles, as there is nothing worse (in my opinion) than purchasing a coin and having it arrive looking nothing like the photo!

Thank You
