Original 1994 UK first pressing of (Come On, Join) The High Society, the debut album by These Animal Men, released on Hi-Rise Recordings / Virgin (catalogue number FLAT LP 8).

Issued during the early rise of the Britpop movement, in a scene labelled 'the New Wave of New Wave' by the music press, the album became a cult favourite for its flamboyant glam-influenced indie rock sound and energetic songwriting.

Original UK vinyl copies from the mid-1990s are increasingly collectible as many albums from this period were pressed in far smaller quantities than their CD counterparts.

TRACK HIGHLIGHTS

• Too Sussed?
• This Is The Sound Of Youth
• Life Support Machine
• Speeed King
• Dirt

These tracks showcase the band’s distinctive mix of glam attitude, indie rock guitars and the youthful energy that defined many early Britpop-era releases.
