ANTIQUE LIMOGES HP SCALLOPED WALL CABINET PLATE PEONIES GREEN PURPLE PINK GILT

Listed here is an antique Limoges wall or cabinet plate dating to between 1891 and 1914. An elegant mixture of hand painting and transfer is what gives rise to purple, green, and pink peonies that envelops the inner face and a pair of roses in the center. An ornate gold gilt pattern circles the rim with an extra gold border painted on top close to the edge. A green backdrop fades to a white color while moving from edge to center. Overall a wonderful piece of French history to own!

Plates measure 9 3/8” Diameter x 1” High

Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. Barely any wear of gold gilt.

Marked “Limoges France” along with a coiffe mark 3 with the words “Limoges” in green. See photos.
