Vintage Merite metal toy soldier figure depicting a British cavalry trooper, produced in 1975. This classic 54mm scale miniature was made as a paint-it-yourself model soldier, popular with hobbyists and miniature painters during the 1970s.

The figure features a Victorian-era British cavalry uniform, including shako-style helmet with pom-pom, moustached trooper, cross-belt and cartridge pouch, tall cavalry boots, and a curved cavalry saber with scabbard rings. The saber and arms were manufactured as separate pieces so that painters could assemble and finish the figure after painting.
