Q: Do I need a mechanic to install these DRLs?
A: We strongly advise professional installation. To install these upgraded LED boards, your factory headlight housings must be completely opened. This involves softening the permanent factory glue in an oven. If not resealed correctly by a professional, your headlights will suffer from heavy moisture and condensation, which damages the electronics.
A: The bare circuit boards are highly delicate. Your installer must never press down on the face of the board where the LED chips are located. They should only be handled by the outer edges. Careful attention must also be paid to the wiring to ensure it is not crushed when closing the headlight shell.
A: Absolutely. You or your installer must dry-test the entire kit first. Simply hook the controller up to a 12-volt battery and use the app to cycle through the colors. We require this step to confirm the product arrived in perfect condition before you commit to dismantling your vehicle's front end.
