Offered is this exceptional French 10-light chandelier from the 1970s, a magnificent piece combining elegant craftsmanship with luxurious crystal decoration. Crafted from solid brass, the chandelier has an impressive presence and a substantial weight of approximately 12 kg.
The entire body is richly adorned with finely worked ornamental branches and decorative leaves, creating a graceful and highly sophisticated appearance. Particularly striking are the two star-shaped crystal crowns decorated with sparkling pendalogues, while the lower crown is embellished with elegant diamond-shaped crystal pendants that beautifully reflect the light.
The curved arms are decorated with rhombus-shaped crystal drops, and the rare star-shaped bobeches are dressed with delicate crystal pendants, adding remarkable detail throughout the chandelier. A true highlight of this piece is the impressive and unusually decorative “Cul-de-Lampe” at the bottom, giving the chandelier an especially refined and luxurious finish.
In total, the chandelier is adorned with approximately 90 sparkling crystal pendants, shimmering beautifully in the light and creating an elegant atmosphere.
This chandelier is a true eye-catcher and an outstanding example of French lighting design from the 1970s.
