Material & Thickness First of all, Gildan 5000 shirts use preshrunk cotton (“preshrunk cotton”) to reduce shrinkage when washing.

Fabric weight is about 5.3 oz/yd² (equivalent to ~ 180 g/m²)

Fabric composition depending on color: Although many colors are 100% cotton, but with special colors, there is a cotton/polyester blend:

Heather colors, Graphite Heather, Safety colors, Tweed, Blackberry, Lilac, Midnight, Neon colors, Sunset: 50/50 Cotton/Polyester blend.

Style / design - Shirt form: classic style, unisex, easy to wear with many body shapes.

Collar: Crew neck with no seam down the middle (“seamless”) with 7/8″ (≈2.2cm) hem with double-needle for more durability.

Shoulders & neck: tapered neck & shoulders for durability and to avoid deformation.

Sleeves & bottom hem: double-needle for strength.

Quarter-turned design: the shirt is turned 1/4 of the fabric when sewing to avoid creases between the front and back.

Cotton material is breathable & quite durable, suitable for printing needs.
