The Dakota Lithium 12V 20Ah LiFePO4 Battery delivers serious power in a compact package engineered in a 12Ah SLA-size case. Version 2.0 upgrade: this battery keeps the same compact footprint while adding USB-A and USB-C charging ports plus a built-in voltmeter for quick battery status checks. With LiFePO4 chemistry, an active BMS, up to 5000 cycles, and an 11-year warranty, it is an ideal drop-in replacement for 12Ah SLA batteries in cold-weather and rugged-use applications.

SLA Battery Replacement

- Charging: This battery should be charged with a LiFePO4 compatible charger at 14.4V for best performance.
- Lead-acid chargers: May work, but typically only charge the battery to about 80% of capacity and can reduce long-term performance.
- Charging temperature: Avoid charging below 32°F.
- Saltwater use: For corrosive environments, apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the F2 terminal blades to help extend lifespan.
- Trolling motor note: For small trolling motors, Dakota Lithium recommends using the 12V 54Ah battery for longer runtime on the water.
