I purchased this sculpture from the artist at a farmer's market in Corrales, NM. It has not been displayed. When I got it home I realized that the artist had not signed it.
The sculpture is made from found items- wood, wire, staples, nails, bolts, leather. The bird is painted gray, with a yellow beak. Paint on the base accentuates the bright color of the beak.
It has a folk-art, rustic and naive style that will appeal.
