Full count of twenty-one unstruck matches. Attractive graphic design on the front cover depicting a peacock. Inside of cover has a neat pop-up three-dimensional die-cut image of a peacock. Printed on the matches are chefs whose hats are the match heads! "Host to the Nation". Circa early 1940s. Very good overall condition with stress lines on the spine folds. The gold flake printing on the upper part of the front cover and the spine has oxidized. There is a small amount of paper missing from the left side of the pop-up where it is attached to the cover. The front row chef on the left is missing a tiny piece of match head material. Measures 2 inches in width.
