Up for bid is a starter plant of the beautiful Acalypha pendula. These plants produce nice soft green leaves, and beautiful red flowers that resemble strips of chenille.  Typically these trailing plants crawl along the ground and only reach a few inches tall but spread to make a beautiful and exotic groundcover.  They can also be grown in hanging baskets or really, any pots and kept as houseplants.  They are hardy to USDA zone 7b, but are very worthy of trying in slightly colder climates, especially in protected spots.  These plants will make a great statement in your garden, and they also make great indoor plants, they are a very popular houseplant.
