RIC IX Lugdunum 32 Subtype 7
**RATED SCARCE IN RIC**
Although rated as simply Scarce in RIC, currently (2/9/2026) this issue
is at least R3, with Nummus-Bible listing just 6 specimens with mintmark LVGS
and officina C in right; OCRE shows that Subtype 7 does exist but show ZERO
examples of the type; this is very likely among the last coins issued for
Magnus Maximus as Subtype 7 is the last officina known for the type, putting
the issuing date of this example in AD 388
All coins are authentic and from my own personal collection. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Over the coming weeks I will be adding more fixed price listings of Late Roman Bronze Coins so please check back with me.
If
there is any specific type you are looking for let me know. I have an
extensive Late Antique collection with AE and some AR issues dating from
the mid 3rd Century AD to the 8th Century AD
