About the Anthology Project

Originally launched in 1995, The Beatles Anthology was a landmark archival project encompassing albums, books, and television documentaries. The three Anthology albums chronologically documented the band’s career from its earliest beginnings through its breakup, featuring rare studio outtakes, demos, live recordings, and reunion tracks.

While carefully curated, the Anthology project left vast archives unreleased, making these expanded anniversary editions essential for collectors and longtime fans.
