Französische ART DECO BAUHAUS Banker- bzw. Schreibtischlampe aus Messing, wohl 1930er–40er Jahre, klassischer gekröpfter Arm (im Winkel verstellbar) und facettierter Sockel, innen mit Eisenplatte beschwert und dadurch standsicher. Elektrik in jüngerer Zeit erneuert, E14-Fassung, funktionstüchtig, Leuchtmittel nicht enthalten. Messing mit schöner altersbedingter Patina und Gebrauchsspuren; von vorn betrachtet auf der rechten Seite eine kleinere Delle, der Lampenschirm leicht drehbar mit etwas Spiel, nicht nachgestellt. Trotz überarbeiteter Elektrik empfiehlt sich bei antiken Leuchten grundsätzlich eine Prüfung durch eine Elektrofachkraft vor dauerhaftem Betrieb. French ART DECO / BAUHAUS banker’s desk lamp in brass, dating to the 1930s–40s, of classic form with curved arm and faceted base, the latter weighted with an internal iron plate to ensure a stable stand. The lamp has been rewired in more recent years and is fitted with an E14 socket; in working order, bulb not included. The brass retains a pleasing, untouched patina with age-related wear; when viewed from the front there is a small dent to the right side, and the shade turns slightly with a few degrees of play, left as found and not adjusted. Overall height approx. 22 cm, shade width approx. 18 cm, power cord length approx. 2 m. As with all antique lighting, inspection by a qualified electrician is recommended before continuous use. Good condition commensurate with age; please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
