Altec N809-8A High Frequency Attenuation 8 Ohms Vintage Speaker Pair


Up for sale is a vintage Altec Lansing N809-8A passive crossover network, removed from an Altec 1218-series system. This is an original Altec network, not a reproduction.

Condition & Testing
• Tested with a multimeter
• HF section measures approximately 3 ohms, consistent with internal attenuation network
• LF section measures ~5.4 ohms with woofer connected, confirming proper continuity and signal path
• No open circuits observed
• All terminals and 1/4” input/output jacks function properly
• No burnt resistors or damaged coils noted

This crossover behaves exactly as expected for this Altec design.
