>This Linx 7" single, titled "Can't Help Myself" and released in 1981 by Chrysalis, Catalogue Number CHS 2565) is a must-have for any fan of 1980s pop/soul/funk music. The vinyl record plays really well, despite what looks like a scratch on it (or a significant mark at least). There's a tiny bit of crackle on the intros of both sides and a few seconds of "pop" on the A Side, but nothing else. It comes in a paper sleeve, the original cover, which I must admit is in awful condition- I've had it in my collection since it was released, so not sure why it's like this, but have had to sellotape all the sides so that it hangs together. Judge for yourself anyway as I've provided a lot of pictures for the condition. Overall I'd say the record grading is very good (VG) but the sleeve grading is worn/poor, so overall Good Plus and priced accordingly.Both the A-side and the flip side "I'm Not Joking", were both produced by the band members Bob Carter and David Grant from their 1981 album "Go Ahead". While not as big a hit as "Intuition" and "So This is Romance", it's still a nice piece of work in the Linx style. Any questions, please let me know via Ebay messaging.
