DESCRIBING OF THE CONDITION OF THESE BOOTS IN GREAT DETAIL:
These boots have been inspected thoroughly to describe the condition as accurately as possible. They have also been tested by stuffing some newspaper inside of the boots and placing them submerged in water for a moment. Some weights were placed inside of the boots as well to simulate the weight of a person wearing them but also to keep them from floating away while submerged ankle high in water. The boots were then removed and the newspaper stuffed inside was also removed and inspected and results were dry as a bone. These boots are most definitely waterproof.
The condition of these rainproof/waterproof women’s boots are PRE-OWNED but they remain in good condition. Almost great condition actually. But just good condition describes accurately. They are preowned and they are used and they have been worn before but only slightly. The only signs of usage that I can see is from heel being slightly worn from light usage. NO SIGNIFICANT SCAR MARKINGS, NO MAJOR SCRATCHES, NO NASTY SCUFFS OR DEEP GOUGES, NOTHING THAT APPEARS WORTH MENTIONING. THE BLACK PLAIN SOLID RUBBER ON BOTH BOOTS ARE IN WONDERFUL SHAPE! The seams where sections of the black rubber come together all around is in great shape. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO HOLES OR LEAKS OR PENETRATIONS WHERE WATER CAN GET IN AND RUIN YOUR DAY BY GETTING YOUR FEET WET. These boot are designed to wear on rainy days and made to get wet. They will keep both of your feet dry while looking stylishly stunning. The plain solid black pattern is great.. There is no peeling or any separation going on near the toes or anything like that. The waterproof seal is solid all the way around where the rubber material meets the sole of the boot. Both gold accent TORI BURCH logos are polished and intact, both are attached really nicely. (they aren’t coming loose).
The only small flaw that I could observe and point out (that is worth mentioning) is the very top of the boots are cuffed like a quarter inch and the inside material is different from the outside material. It’s like a synthetic leather that stitched all around the boot at the very top on the inside and outside. Well, this cuffing part at the top of the boot shows a couple of cracks in the material, which isn’t a big deal but I thought I’d mention it since I noticed it. I will show close-up photos so you can see exactly what I’m talking about. It’s really nothing though.
Overall, these boots are clean, they are still waterproof, and even though they are pre-owned they appear to be hardly worn or only slightly worn. Which I believe with confidence that you or the buyer of these boots will not be disappointed or unsatisfied with the condition of these boots for being preowned and for the price compared to MSRP.
