Compared to the regular Royal Blue Overdrive, the "Bluebird Mod" slightly scoops the midrange and strengthens and thickens the bass, maintaining a warm tone while still maintaining clarity and focus, resulting in a sound that is more clearly reminiscent of the Bluebird Overdrive.

Each Royal Blue Overdrive Custom Bluebird Mod is carefully modified by engineers at Mad Professor's factory in Finland.

DRIVE: Controls distortion in most dynamic response settings, adjusting the amount of distortion depending on picking strength.
TREBLE: A shelving-type equalizer that controls the amount of high frequency boost or cut.
It works with most amplifiers that have a presence control, and can be used to add brightness to even already bright amplifiers without interfering with the typical amplifier treble boost characteristic.
BASS: A shelling-type equalizer that controls the amount of boost or cut in the low frequencies (slightly above the resonant frequency of a standard 4x12 cabinet).
