The Fujitsu MB86932-40 is a high-performance embedded RISC processor based on the SPARC architecture. As the fourth member of the 930 series, it was designed for cost-sensitive yet demanding applications.
Running at 40 MHz, it features 8KB instruction and 2KB data caches, 16-entry TLB, and a dual-channel DMA controller. Its 0.8μm CMOS process and integrated features allowed it to achieve 37 MIPS sustained performance, exceptional for its class.
