Thank you for visiting Shanna's Attic. PLEASE READ full description

This listing is for a premium version of our Olympic deck wood collection. Not only do you get a genuine piece of wood from the actual deck of the Olympic [Removed when the ship was scrapped in 1936 and used as a factory floor for 70 years], but this collection includes an ORIGINAL sailing schedule for the White Star line that lists the departure date of the Olympic from Southampton in 1914. This advert was originally printed in the Time Newspaper in 1914. It is housed in a professional grade plastic slip case.

Images show typical specimens like the one you will receive. The date of each newspaper clipping is different.

The RMS Olympic was the Titanic's sister ship and used the same type of decking installed on the Titanic. The decking was in place when the ship was used as a troop transporter during the Gallipoli campaign of the First World War. A historically important ship somewhat overshadowed by her sister. The decking was salvaged when the ship was scrapped in 1936.
