Excellent ROLEX AIR-KING PRECISION Ref 5500 1002 

This is a wonderful Rolex Air-King Precision model Ref. 5500 /1002 from the 1960's. Oyster case made in Stainless Steel with a smooth bezel and original screw-in crown signed with logo. Measures 34 mm in diameter without the crown and 39.5 mm in total length. Screwdown back signed inside 'Montres Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel, 1002, IV 64.

Marked between upper lugs with model number 5500 and between lower lugs with serial number 11357XX.

Fitted with the original Rolex Oyster rivet bracelet in excellent condition, also made in Stainless Steel. Deployable clasp with Rolex logo, signed inside 'Rolex, Patented & Registered, Swiss Made, Steelinox'. Fits a wrist of up to 7.25 inches. 

Beautiful gray dial with sunburst finish. Excellent original condition, with some mild evidence of age. Includes silver hands, silver applied baton index hour markers and central seconds. Outer minute track in black. Signed 'Rolex Oyster-Perpetual, Air-King, Precision, Swiss'.

Original Rolex automatic movement. Caliber 1530 with 26 jewels, shock protected. Signed 'Rolex, Geneva, Swiss'. Watch has been tested recently and it's working properly.
