When I first turned it on, I could see the heating element turn orange and feel heat, but then after a few minutes, the heat stopped and I no longer saw orange. I could never get heat back so not sure if there is a loose wire or blown fuse or what. After reading, some women prefer cool air to dry anyway, as it is similar to natural air drying their hair, but faster
