From a local estate, here is an old game board, made from an antique crate lid. Measures about 16" X 18" with a chess/checkers setup painted on the front. The back has a stencil from C. L. Jennings in Rural Retreat, Virginia.

Solid condition, has some cracks but solid, held together by the crate ribs on either side. General age and wear, plus some child's scribbles on the back side, nails are rusty. Definitely an older piece, primitive and handmade, displays beautifully.
