Please read the condition notes carefully before purchasing. While this lens is mechanically sound, it has specific optical defects.
Mechanically, the lens performs well. The combined zoom and focus ring operates smoothly without stiffness or grit. The aperture ring clicks decisively into place, and the aperture blades stop down instantly (snappy) with no oil contamination. The breech lock mount secures firmly to the camera body.
Cosmetically, the lens is in good shape. The black finish shows minor wear typical of its age, but there are no deep scratches or dents. The grip is tight and intact.
Optically, the glass has issues that will affect image contrast. As noted, there is a degree of haze present internally, and there is one large spot of fungus visible inside the lens. We recommend a professional cleaning to restore this lens to full clarity, though it can still be used as-is for soft-focus or experimental photography.
