These cages were built to retrofit some great older classic Campagnolo derailleur equipped bikes and make them practical to ride, especially in the hills. The idea was simple, take an existing Campy derailleur and retrofit the cage plates with longer one to allow the use of larger cogs on the freewheel.  Installation of these cages duplicate functionality of the genuine Campy Ralley dearalleurs.

These beautiful 7075 Aluminum replicas come in two finishes, Satin and polished. This Listing is for the Polished. They were designed to the specs of the classic Campagnolo Rally part # 3452 and 3453 rear derailleur long cage plates.

This gives the maximum range of gearing capacity to a Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Super Record, GS, and Rally derailleur of the 70’s and 80’s. The Campagnolo compatible cage plates allow you to run up to a 32 tooth cog in the rear, and with a 38T chain wrap capacity, depending on the design of your dropouts.  You may be able to extend your range by employing a WOLF TOOTH hanger extender.

The cage is threaded at 5x.08 to work with Campagnolo pulley bolts with the inner cage plate threaded to 6x.075 to bolt onto the Campagnolo Gear Spring bolt.

NOTE: Fits only the original series Campagnolo derailleurs like those depicted.  Super Record my require modification of the threads on the cages to attach correctly.  So, be prepared for that prior to ordering.
