This heavy solid brass apothecary mortar & pestle, manufactured before 1930, is a rare and valuable antique piece that holds historical significance in the realm of science and medicine. It is a two-piece grinding tool traditionally used in pharmacies and apothecaries to crush and mix medicinal herbs and compounds.

Condition: In good condition. Both the mortar and pestle have some surface wear and scratches consistent with age. Some residue on inside of mortar.
