Genuine piece of coal salvaged from the wreck of the Carpathia. Comes with ID card that records the provenance of the piece. The Carpathia is famous for having rescued the survivors of Titanic. It was sunk by a German U-boat on the 17 July 1918, near the end of the First world War. The coal was recovered by Premier Exhibitions, Inc. on August 25, 2007.
