Key capabilities

The meter is an integrating sound level meter that measures SPL, Leq, Lmax, Lmin, Lpeak, TWA, dose, projected dose, and statistical levels Ln. It supports A, C, and Z frequency weightings and Fast, Slow, Impulse, and Peak time weightings, allowing configuration to common regulatory standards.

• It’s built to be rugged, compact, and lightweight, and can run ~30 hours on AA lithium batteries, making it convenient for field-use.

Larson Davis CAL200 Sound Level Calibrator

• The CAL200 is a precision microphone calibrator — a small handheld device used to calibrate sound level meters (like the LxT2) and other acoustic measurement equipment.

• It generates a stable, known sound pressure level — either 94.0 dB or 114.0 dB (switch-selectable) at a frequency of 1 kHz — which allows the meter’s microphone system to be checked (and adjusted if needed) for accuracy.

• It is designed for both field and laboratory use. The output level is stable regardless of battery condition; it uses an internal 9 V battery and is compliant with relevant standards (e.g. IEC 60942 Class 1) — so you can rely on it for calibrating meters to a reference traceable to national standards (e.g. National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST).
