Lid: The top features a round, glossy white porcelain insert with a beautiful blue and white hand-painted geometric and floral design. The central circular motif may depict the Shou (寿) symbol, representing Longevity.

Body: The hinged sides of the box are crafted from a brass or metal alloy with detailed, engraved/embossed scrollwork (filigree).
