This is a set of six Prinknash Abbey Pottery "Bewick's Beastes" dinner plates. The collection was designed by Clifford Richards and features museum-quality reproductions of Thomas Bewick's 18th-century wood engravings. The borders blend zebra stripes, leopard spots, and other textural animal prints in black against white porcelain with 24-karat gold rim detailing. The dinnerware was handcrafted by Benedictine monks in Gloucestershire, England, primarily produced between the 1950s and 1970s.
